Winners and Losers so far

Clearly the Jets and the Ravens are the big winners. The Jets acquired Antonio Rodgers-Cromartie from the Cardinals and now there are reports out that the Jets are bringing in future hall of fame running back, LaDanian Tomlinson for a meet and greet visit. The Ravens won big time with the acquisition of Anquan Boldin from the Cardinals. Boldin gives the Ravens a mature receiver that can stretch the field, go across the middle, and catch 100+ passes no problem. Boldin and Flacco are a HUGE duo in the AFC.

The clear loser so far in the free agent market is the Arizona Cardinals. Losing Kurt Warner to retirement, Antonio Rodgers-Cromartie to the Jets, and Anquan Boldin to the Ravens, the Cardinals have taken major steps backwards and will have a very tough time wining the division with who they have right now. Another team that I will consider a loser so far is the Philadelphia Eagles. With three potential starting quarterbacks, McNabb, Vick, and Kolb, the Eagles have done nothing to shop these guys around because they are bluffing with Vick saying they will pay him the 3 million owed this season if no one puts up the right offer, but now their are reports, from ESPN's Sal Palantonio, that the Eagles are asking for a first round draft pick from Kolb or McNabb. The Eagles need to clear this quarterback controversy up before training camp and from the looks of it now, it does not look like we'll know a thing.

Things that may happen before the draft:
-Brady Quinn will be shipped out of Cleveland and the Browns will bring in a new starting quarterback. (Predictions: Delhomme, McNabb/Kolb, or possibly Charlie Whitehurst from the Chargers). I expect Quinn to possibly head to Kansas City to be with his college coach and former Patriots offensive coordinator...Oh yea, the new Off. Coordinator of the KC Chiefs, Charlie Weiss.
-LT will sign with the Vikings before the draft
-TO will be rumored to talk with the Eagles, but then sign with an AFC team (Oakland, Kansas City, Jets)
-Brian Westbrook will have a new home
