Power Rankings

Here are the Power Rankings after Week 2 in the NFL

1. New Orleans Saints (2-0) - Defending champs are without Reggie Bush for at least 6 weeks.

2. Green Bay Packers (2-0) - The explosive offense will be put to the test against the Bears defense and the Chicago faithful on Monday night.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0) - Defense has won them two straight games, big test on the road against a young and hot Tampa Bay squad.

4. Houston Texans (2-0) - Two down, eight to go to make the playoffs.

5. Indianapolis Colts (1-1) - Peyton showed us why we cannot sleep on these Colts.

6. New York Jets (1-1) - The Jets finally walked the walk against the Patriots last week.

7. Miami Dolphins (2-0) - Great defensive play combined with very solid performances from Chad Henne has led the Dolphins to a 2-0 start.

8. New England Patriots (1-1) - The Pats will pick up their play, lets not forget who they have behind center.

9. Baltimore Ravens (1-1) - They beat the mighty Jets, then lost a tough one on the road to the Bengals who were due. No offense out of Flacco yet, this team will get hot soon.

10. Washington Redskins (1-1) - A win against Dallas, a near win against Houston, this team is solid.

11. Atlanta Falcons (1-1) - Let's find out about this team this week when they take on the Saints in New Orleans.

12. Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) - The Bengals defense woke up in week 2, look out Jimmy Clausen.

13. San Diego Chargers (1-1) - Seattle, Arizona, Oakland, and St. Louis are the Chargers next four opponents. 5-1 anyone?

14. Chicago Bears (2-0) - Huge test for Cutler at home against the Packers this Monday night.

15. Tennessee Titans (1-1) - Vince Young should bounce back, but at New York Giants this week will be tough.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) - Close loss to the Packers, then the Lions nearly came back, I expect a blowout in Jacksonville.

17. San Francisco 49ers (0-2) - This team will bounce back, their defense is legit. I still see them winning at least 9.

18. Dallas Cowboys (0-2) - Test. Beat Houston and they pass, lose to Houston and this team will be in a big hole. Very tough schedule ahead of them.

19. Kansas City Chiefs (2-0) - This team still has a lot to prove. How does Jamaal Charles not touch the ball until the second quarter?

20. New York Giants (1-1) - The Titans are in town this week. The Colts ran all over the G-Men, I bet Chris Johnson does too.

21. Minnesota Vikings (0-2) - Didn't have the Vikings in the playoffs from the start, but did not expect this type of play out of them.

22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) - Home against the Steelers this week. A win here and the Bucs are in serious business.

23. Denver Broncos (1-1) - I am impressed with Kyle Orton's play so far.

24. Detroit Lions (0-2) - I said this from day 1, the Lions may lose eight games, they may lose twelve games, but I guarantee they will be in all of their games with the young talent they have.

25. Oakland Raiders (1-1) - I like the defense, and I like them at home. No more Campbell behind center, we are going back to Bruce Gradkowski.

26. Arizona Cardinals (1-1) - They got exposed in Atlanta.

27. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) - I expect the Jaguars to get toasted this week by Philly.

28. Cleveland Browns (0-2) - Joshua Cribbs finally got some touches in week 2, what happened? Touchdown.

29. St. Louis Rams (0-2) - The Rams have been competitive, but they need to keep running the ball consistently and allow Bradford to develop that way.

30. Carolina Panthers (0-2) - This team is bad, but at least Clausen gets the nod this week.

31. Seattle Seahawks (1-1) - Pete Carroll won week one, but now he faces the Chargers explosive offense.

32. Buffalo Bills (0-2) - The Bills are not a good team.

Power Rankings

Here are my power rankings for team's with playoff hopes entering Week 16:

1. Indianapolis Colts (14-0) - Will they rest their players or will they play for history? I think a very physical first half from the Jets this week may force the Colts into resting Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne. It is not worth it for them to risk injury to their star players when their goal is to win the Super Bowl.

2. San Diego Chargers (11-3) - One of the hottest teams in the NFL. 17 straight December wins. Phillip Rivers is a beast.

3. New Orleans Saints (13-1) - They lost to the Cowboys...They lost to the Cowboys in New Orleans...I did not predict that to happen. I believe the Saints have been exposed.

4. Philadelphia Eagles (10-4) - Too hot too handle. DeSean Jackson is the MVP of the NFC-East. Eagles are a dangerous team.

5. Arizona Cardinals (9-5) - The Cardinals have the explosive offense, a running game in the works, and a defense that shows up for the big games. I like that mix.

6. Minnesota Vikings (11-3) - Finally the media has attacked the Vikings offensive line. Their is nothing wrong with AP or Brett Farve, the problem exists in the 5 in front of them. Didn't anyone think it was weird in week 3 to have 6 and 7 guys stay in to protect on 3rd downs for the Vikings? A contender must have a strong offensive line to challenge for the Super Bowl. Not so much here.

7. New England Patriots (9-5) - The experience will begin to shine through as the Patriots will try to lock up the #3 seed.

8. Cincinnati Bengals (9-5) - How much will the mourning of a fellow teammate and friend affect the Bengals the rest of the way.

9. New York Giants (8-6) - The power running game was back on Monday night. If the Giants are able to play with that type of physical nature the rest of the way, they would be a tough team to play in January.

10. Baltimore Ravens (8-6) - Perfect time for Ray Lewis and company to heat up.

11. Dallas Cowboys (9-5) - Tony Romo has had a tremendous season, if they fall short he is not the one to blame.

12. Denver Broncos (8-6) - The great teams beat the good teams. Therefore, the Broncos should lose this week to the Eagles.

13. Green Bay Packers (9-5) - Green Bay has had a good season, but they are 2-4 against playoff contenders this season.

14. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7) - Huge last-second victory against Green Bay. But I think 9-7 won't be enough for the Steelers.

15. Miami Dolphins (7-7) - This team plays every game close. Houston and Pittsburgh at home are both possible wins for this club.

16. Tennessee Titans (7-7) - What a remarkable turnaround for a team that start 0-6.

17. New York Jets (7-7) - Someone let Rex Ryan know that the Jets still have a heartbeat for the playoffs.

18. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-7) - An upset over Indy would have been huge, but the loss dropped the Jags to 7-7 and most likely out of the playoffs.

19. Houston Texans (7-7) - The Texans still have life, but they need to win in Miami and against New England, and they also need a lot of other things to happen.

Power Rankings

Here are my power rankings after week 14:

1. Indianapolis Colts (13-0) - On the road to perfection, but will the starters play the entire game this Thursday night @ Jacksonville.

2. New Orleans Saints (13-0) - I am still convinced the Sean Payton will continue to play his #1's.

3. San Diego Chargers (10-3) - The Chargers keep winning games and their defense continues to get better each week. This team is a playoff contender.

4. Minnesota Vikings (11-2) - The Vikings bounced back and beat up on the Bengals. Brett Farve looked sharp and AP looked like he's coming out again.

5. Philadelphia Eagles (9-4) - The Eagles will be tested this week against the G-Men, a win would make this team a legitamate contender in the NFC.

6. Arizona Cardinals (8-5) - This team is dangerous, but the lack of focus and preparation for a nationally televised Monday night road game to lock up the division scares me a bit.

7. Cincinnati Bengals (9-4) - Huge test last week against Minnesota, and their inability to stretch the field with Carson Palmer cost them the game.

8. Green Bay Packers (9-4) - They haven't been truly tested, but this team is playing very good football.

9. Denver Broncos (8-5) - The Broncos played a good football game against Indy last week, picking Peyton off 3 times. But their inability to capitalize on the turnovers left them on the short side.

10. New England Patriots (8-5) - The Patriots have been exposed, Randy Moss is being a baby, and the Patriots are not convincingly beating teams.

11. Baltimore Ravens (7-6) - This team didn't just win on Sunday, the destroyed the Lions. That is what you do to bad teams. I think the Ravens are on the way back to old form.

12. New York Giants (7-6) - Played hard against Philly. I like their final three games to get them in the playoffs.

13. Dallas Cowboys (8-5) - @ New Orleans this week, then @ Washington, then against Philly. Tough road for the Boys.

14. Miami Dolphins (7-6) - The Phins are still breathing. But one loss just about does it.

15. New York Jets (7-6) - With a win this week against Atlanta, the Jets would be 8-6 heading into the final two weeks where they play @ Indy and home against Cincinnati. Both Indy and Cincy will have clinched by then, could the Jets sneak in the back door to the wildcard?

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-6) - Their schedule has Mia, and Cle left on it, but also Indy and NE...9-7 won't do it in the AFC, they need to get to 10 wins.

Here are my NFL Power Rankings entering Week 14

1. Indianapolis Colts (12-0) - How focused will the Colts be this week after locking up the division? I think it's a let-down week vs Denver.

2. New Orleans Saints (12-0) - Seems like fate for the Saints this season.

3. San Diego Chargers (9-3) - The Chargers keep winning games, a win this week in Dallas would make them a legit contender.

4. Cincinnati Bengals (9-3) - Huge test this week against Minnesota.

5. Minnesota Vikings (10-2) - The Vikings were tested and they failed. It was a good loss for Minnesota, in my mind, because they found out what they need to get right before the playoffs.

6. Arizona Cardinals (8-4) - Kurt Warner's is an outstanding quarterback, and when he doesn't get pressured he can make it rain out there.

7. Philadelphia Eagles (8-4) - The Eagles will be tested this week against the G-Men, a win would make this team a legitamate contender in the NFC.

8. New England Patriots (7-5) - The Patriots have been exposed.

9. Green Bay Packers (8-4) - They are getting healthy and peaking at the right time in the season.

10. Denver Broncos (8-4) - The Broncos are back, and with 2 of the remaining 4 games going against Oak and KC, I predict the Broncos will make the playoffs. I also like them to upset the Colts this week in INDY.

11. New York Giants (7-5) - What is the identity of this team? Jacobs is not running as hard and strong as last season.

12. Dallas Cowboys (8-4) - This team just doesn't get it done in December. Don't trust them for anything. The hardest remaining schedule in the NFC-East, the Cowboys WILL NOT make the playoffs with a loss this week against San Diego.

13. Jacksonville Jaguars (7-5) - Their schedule has Mia, and Cle left on it, but also Indy and NE...9-7 won't do it in the AFC, they need to get to 10 wins.

17. New York Jets (6-6) - Rookie quarterback, don't like the chances. Expect the Jets to be legit next year.

Power Rankings

Here are my NFL Power Rankings entering Week 13

1. Indianapolis Colts (11-0) - Between the Colts and the Saints, you could have either at the top. I am sticking with Indy as I have had them here for the last few weeks.

2. New Orleans Saints (11-0) - Impressive and dominating win against New England on Monday night. This team, in my opinion, is at the very least, NFC-Championship bound.

3. Minnesota Vikings (10-1) - As good as Brett Farve and this Viking offense has been, the defense has been just as impressive.

4. San Diego Chargers (8-3) - The Chargers are heating up at the perfect time, LT is getting better by the week.

5. New England Patriots (7-4) - The Patriots will bounce back after getting smacked around by New Orleans.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (8-3) - Benson is expected to start Week 13.

7. Philadelphia Eagles (7-4) - With Matt Ryan out this week, expect the Eagles to shut down DeSean Jackson and let him rest get over his mild-concussion in preparation for Week 14's matchup vs the Giants.

8. Dallas Cowboys (8-3) - It's December, let's see how Romo plays.

9. Denver Broncos (7-4) - Big time win at home against the Giants on Thanksgiving.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) - Big Ben is expected to start this week against the Raiders. W for the Steelers.

11. Arizona Cardinals (7-4) - Kurt Warner's status is questionable.

12. Green Bay Packers (7-4) - Aaron Rodgers has been superb this season, if his O-line gets healthy this would be a dangerous team to get in the playoffs.

13. Atlanta Falcons (6-5) - Matt Ryan is out this week with TURF-TOE. Going to be a tough game against the Eagles.

14. Baltimore Ravens (6-5) - Big win for the Ravens, they should be in MUST-WIN mode for the rest of the season.

15. New York Giants (6-5) - What is the identity of this team? Jacobs is not running as hard and strong as last season.

16. San Francisco 49ers (5-6) - You have to love Mike Singletary and what he has done with this team. If the 49ers are able to take down the Cardinals this week, they will be one game out of the division lead.

Here are my power rankings entering Week 11 in the NFL:

1. Indianapolis Colts (9-0) - Huge game against the Ravens this week, do they still have anything left in the tank after the emotional win Sunday night?

2. New Orleans Saints (9-0) - Not exactly the win I expected to see against the Rams last Sunday, however, any win in the NFL is a good win. I think they play better this week against Tampa Bay.

3. Minnesota Vikings (8-1) - Brett Farve has 17 TD passes and only 3 interceptions...Wow.

4. Cincinnati Bengals (7-2) - I am still surprised by how well the Bengals have played all season, their only let down was against the high-flying offense of the Texans. The Bengals defense should thrive against the Raiders this week.

5. New England Patriots (6-3) - What a performance out of Brady on Sunday night, that game was an instant classic. This is a very good offense, that has a defense that is getting better each week. But, Coach Belichick clearly does not trust the defense.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) - The Steelers never got it going on offense against the Bengals. In order for Pittsburgh to make a deep playoff run this year, they have to commit their offense to the running game.

7. Arizona Cardinals (6-3) - I believe in this team. The defense turns it on in the big games, but primarily they just rely on Kurt Warner's arm. And the arm is working just fine.

8. San Diego Chargers (6-3) - Big game against a desperate Broncos team. Kyle Orton's health is the key in that matchup.

9. Dallas Cowboys (6-3) - Major let down against the Packers. Offensively they need to run the ball more consistently and stop putting everything in Tony Romo's hands.

10. Philadelphia Eagles (5-4) - The Eagles are the most feared team in the NFC come playoff time, but, with redzone efficiency problems, the playoffs are not guaranteed for this Eagles team that still plays the Bears, Giants, Cowboys, Broncos, and 49ers.

11. New York Giants (5-4) - The Giants will have a tough game this week against the Falcons, but I think they get their stuff back on the right path.

12. Houston Texans (5-4) - This Texans team showed me a lot in the loss to Indianapolis. With a bye week to prepare for Monday nights matchup against Tennessee, I expect Matt Schaub to light up the Titans secondary.

13. Denver Broncos (6-3) - A major injury concern with Kyle Orton's ankle, cost them the game in Washington last week, and I believe it will cost them the game this week against San Diego even if Orton is able to go.

14. Baltimore Ravens (5-4) - An unimpressive win on Monday night, not exactly the type of game you want to have the week before you play the best team in football this week.

15. Carolina Panthers (4-5) - With a difficult schedule from here on out I find it tough for the Panthers to win more than 9 games, but with Delhomme passing the ball well the past three games, this offense is no longer one dimensional.

16. Atlanta Falcons (5-4) - The Falcons need Matt Ryan to step up during the time Michael Turner will have to sit out due to his injury.

17. Green Bay Packers (5-4) - The win against Dallas was huge for Rodgers, and huge for the organization. Another test this week against the 49ers.

18. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4) - I think the Jaguars are a stone-cold-lead-pipe-LOCK to win big this week at home against Buffalo.

19. San Francisco 49ers (4-5) - The 49ers have the defense to keep them in games, but their offense needs to be able to pass the ball effectively in order to give them a chance to win games.

20. Chicago Bears (4-5) - Eagles come to town this week, that does not bode well for Bear fans.

21. Miami Dolphins (4-5) - Ronnie Brown is done for the year, and so are the Dolphins.

22. Tennessee Titans (3-6) - Can they make it four in a row against Houston this week? I don't think so, but I believe it will be very close.

23. New York Jets (4-5) - Rex Ryan cried during a team meeting this week, the Jets won't be in the post season this year.

24. Washington Redskins (3-6) - Betts and Campbell played well last week against Denver, and look for them to fair decently against the Cowboys defense this week.

25. Seattle Seahawks (3-6) - No running game and a broken down offensive line is not a recipe for success in the NFL.

26. Buffalo Bills (3-6) - Head coach was fired this week, big time loss in Jacksonville on Sunday is my prediction.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) - What a great effort against Miami, came down to the wire.

28. St. Louis Rams (1-8) - Would have been insane if the Rams were the team that knocked off the Saints, they almost did!

29. Kansas City Chiefs (2-7) - They lost Larry Johnson for the season and now Dwayne Bowe for 4 weeks...excellent.

30. Detroit Lions (1-8) - I am prediction a good week out of Stafford this week.

31. Oakland Raiders (2-7) - No comment.

32. Cleveland Browns (1-8) - No comment.

Power Rankings

Here are my Power Rankings for the NFL heading into Week 10:
1. New Orleans Saints (8-0) - They did it again, coming from behind to beat the Panthers this time. The Saints are digging themselves a hole in the first halves of the past two games, but should be okay this week in St. Louis.

2. Indianapolis Colts (8-0) - They will not remain unbeaten if they cannot run the ball successfully. Peyton throws to Clark and Wayne only, and Addai is not getting it done out of the backfield. Even at 9-0, the Colts have layed out the blueprint, of how to beat them, over the past two weeks.

3. Minnesota Vikings (7-1) - Coming off a bye week the Vikings are at home against the Lions. Should be an easy win, expect a lot of Peterson in this one.

4. New England Patriots (6-2) - The Patriots didn't light it up against the Dolphins, but they showed that Moss still has it, and Welker is the best possession Wide Receiver in the league.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) - Mendenhall has allowed the Steelers to get back to Steeler football. With a strong running game, their best passing attack in years, and a stout defense, this Pittsburgh team will go deep into the playoffs.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) - The Bengals will lose this week to the Steelers, but they beat Baltimore twice this season and Cedric Benson went over 100 yards rushing in both games. Believe in this team because they will be a wild card team in the AFC.

7. Dallas Cowboys (6-2) - The Eagles should have won the game, but Romo connected with Miles Austin for a 49-yard touchdown in the 4th to win it. The Cowboys only strong win this season is against Philly, but if Romo can remain hot this team is going to continue this winning streak for possibly 3 more weeks.

8. Arizona Cardinals (5-3) - A huge win in Chicago for Arizona. Kurt Warner bounced back from a 5 interception performance a week ago, to a 5 touchdown performance this week. Expect more of this from the old timer.

9. Philadelphia Eagles (5-3) - Better game management and this team wins against Dallas. But, the big win against the Giants, and then this tough loss against Dallas, is not the consistency you would like to see out of this Philly team.

10. Atlanta Falcons (5-3) - The Falcons still have Carolina, Tampa twice, Buffalo, and the Jets left on their schedule. Big chance to win 10 games.

11. Denver Broncos (6-2) - The Broncos are still a good team, but their quarterback is coming back to Earth and playing at the talent level he really is (about a 75 QB rating type).

12. Houston Texans (5-4) - A much needed bye week, but the Texans are very disappointed they are not taking time off after a win in Indy. Thought they had it, came up just short. This team has a potent offense and a defense that has played terrific the past 5 weeks. Time off should only help.
13. San Diego Chargers (5-3) - The Chargers are coming back quickly, can they continue their hot streak at home against Philly this week? I don't think so.

14. New York Giants (5-4) - A much needed bye week for the G-men after losing 4 straight. Coughlin will have these guys prepared for the falcons in Week 11.

15. Baltimore Ravens (4-4) - The defense and offense will step up and give this team a chance to make the playoffs.

16. New York Jets (4-4) - If Sanchez can be consistent and play clean football this team is going to win some games. Their defense is well rested and Thomas Jones has been running the ball great this season. Unfortunately, 4-4 does not make much of his success.

17. Miami Dolphins (3-5) - Their ground game is tremendous and will keep them in games all season. Their defense plays with heart, and I still think this team can have an 8-8 season.

18. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-4) - Look at these guys sneaking up the ladder.

19. San Francisco 49ers (3-5) - The 49ers will be okay, Coach Singletary will rally his troops this week as they play his old team, Da' Bears.

20. Green Bay Packers (4-4) - What a bad slip-up game for the Packers. They need their line to protect Rodgers or else they are done for the season.

21. Chicago Bears (4-4) - Slowly slipping down the rankings, at least Cutler tried to make a comeback against the Cardinals.
22. Carolina Panthers (3-5) - The Panthers run game is in full affect...since all they do is run the ball.
23. Tennessee Titans (2-6) - The Titans are 2-0 with VY behind center, I believe this week makes it 3-0.

24. Seattle Seahawks (3-5) - The Seahawks played poorly against the Lions, trailing 17-0 at one point, but Hasselbeck rallied them and got a 12 point win for the home team.

25. Buffalo Bills (3-5) - Even though they were on a bye last week, I still feel like they lost.

26. Washington Redskins (2-6) - No Portis for a few weeks because of a concussion...Season just got "worser".

27. Kansas City Chiefs (1-7) - Chris Chambers was a great pickup for Matt Cassel. Look for these guys to develop a chemistry over the next few games.

28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-7) - What an impressive performance by the rookie, Josh Freeman, in his first career start. Congratulations to new head coach Raheem Morris on his first career win as well.
29. St. Louis Rams (1-7) - S. Jackson is the only reason this team has any talent on the roster.
30. Detroits Lions (1-7) - Stafford throwing 5 INTs is not good.

31. Oakland Raiders (2-6) - The Raiders are funny to watch. I love ESPN's "Not Top 10" haha.

32. Cleveland Browns (1-7) - The Browns are in shambles. 1-15.

Power Rankings

Here are my Power Rankings for the NFL after Week 8:

1. New Orleans Saints (7-0) - Outscoring their opponents 273-154, the Saints offense can run and pass very effectively which causes mayhem for their opponents.

2. Indianapolis Colts (7-0) - Not a great win over San Fran as they were shut down in the redzone, and a huge test this week against a hot Houston Texan team.

3. Minnesota Vikings (7-1) - Great road win in Green Bay to go off on a bye week. This team has all of the tools to go deep into the playoffs.
4. New England Patriots (5-2) - The Patriots are coming off a bye week, I am guaranteeing a win bye double digits as head coach Bill Belichick is tremendous coming off bye weeks.

5. Denver Broncos (6-1) - The undefeated pressure is off of their shoulders, but they got beat bad in Baltimore and things don't get any easier playing Pittsburgh this week.

6. Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) - The Bengals are coming off a bye and play Baltimore this week. The Bengals can run and pass, but can their defense hold down Flacco and Rice two times in a season? I see a low scoring Bengals loss this weekend.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) - I am predicting a big win in Denver this weekend, Big Ben and company are poised to make their current 4 game winning streak last a lot longer.

8. Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) - They lose to Oakland, get an unimpressive win in Washington D.C., and then embarrass the Giants in Philly...I still do not know how good this team is, but with a healthy Westbrook this week against Dallas, we may see a lot of mismatches for Philly's RB's and WR's.

9. Dallas Cowboys (5-2) - This is Tony Romo to a "T". Solid in September, October, and November, and then crashes in December.

10. Baltimore Ravens (4-3) - This team is on the move, I love this defense for their intensity and determination they showed and exhibited against Denver last week.

11. New York Giants (5-3) - Regroup and get back to running the ball.

12. Houston Texans (5-3) - I predicted the Texans to win the division with an 11-5 record, that may not win the division but I do see them knocking off the undefeated Colts on Sunday.

13. Arizona Cardinals (4-3) - Games like that happen, 5 interceptions, but how do they bounce back against the Bears this week, who are coming off a feel-good win last week against Cleveland.

14. Atlanta Falcons (4-3) - This is still a good football team, even though they lost 2 straight they still have a good thing going in Atlanta.

15. San Diego Chargers (4-3) - I am not sold on my preseason Super Bowl pick, but their defense looked much more intense last week.
16. New York Jets (4-4) - Mark Sanchez played well last week in the loss to Miami, had the Jets covered the kickoff's it would have been a blow out win for New York.
17. Miami Dolphins (3-4) - Yes the Dolphins have beat the Jets twice, but I still feel that the Jets are a better team across the board, plus the Dolphins are going to get beat up this weekend in New England.

18. Green Bay Packers (4-3) - They played well against the Vikings, but the offensive line is going to kill Aaron Rodgers before the end of the season. The cannot block anything.

19. Chicago Bears (4-3) - Very inconsistent, poor game planning, and not enough options for Cutler. That being said, they are 4-3 and still in a good position to make a run at the wild card spot. However, I see Arizona winning this weekend.
20. San Francisco (3-4) - The defense gave the offense every chance to win the game against the Colts this past Sunday, but the Colts came out on top. This 49ers defense will keep them in games, but can Frank Gore stay healthy and take some pressure off of Smith?

21. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-4) - Maurice Jones-Drew is all this team has.

22. Carolina Panthers (3-4) - The Panthers are too inconsistent with their performances each week, but if they get down early in a game and are forced to throw the ball, this team goes down fast.
23. Tennessee Titans (1-6) - With a new quarterback behind center, and a commitment to running the ball, the Titans are a scary team to play.

24. Buffalo Bills (3-5) - The cannot stop the run, and they have no offense.

25. Kansas City Chiefs (1-6) - The rest of the teams are bad, the Chiefs are coming off a bye and Larry Johnson is out, I like the Chiefs with Charles taking the handoffs.
26. Seattle Seahawks (2-5) - Hasselbeck needs lineman to help block for him so he isn't de-cleated every hit he takes.
27. Washington Redskins (2-5) - Not much to say here.

28. Oakland Raiders (2-5) - They occasionally show up to play football.

29. St. Louis Rams (1-6) - Thank god for Stephen Jackson!

30. Detroit Lions (1-6) - They need Calvin back fast.

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-7) - 0 wins so far for the Bucs.

32. Cleveland Browns (1-7) - So bad... their fans are meeting with the owner.

Power Rankings

Here are my Power Rankings after Week 7

1. New Orleans Saints (6-0) - Rallied after being down 24-3 to Miami, came back and won by 12. Drew Brees is playing with a passion that not many in the NFL ever show, he is the real deal and he is leading this team on the right path.

2. Indianapolis Colts (6-0) - Blow out against the Rams last week, now they head back home to face the 49ers and new starting quarterback Alex Smith.

3. Denver Broncos (6-0) - Had a bye last week, big matchup against Baltimore this week.

4. New England Patriots (5-2) - Tom is back ladies and gentlemen.

5. Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) - Leading the AFC-North, the Bengals have the top rusher in the NFL in Cedric Benson, and Carson Palmer torched the Bears for 5 td's last week.

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) - The bye week comes at a perfect time for Pittsburgh, big win against the Vikings and a few injured played need some time off, Lawrence Timmons most notably.

7. Minnesota Vikings (6-1) - The Vikings played well enough to get a win in Pittsburgh, turnovers killed them.

8. New York Giants (5-2) - Two straight losses for the G-Men, could Philly make it a 3rd this week?

9. Philadelphia (4-2) - An unimpressive win Monday night against Washington, can the Eagles take the NFC-East lead with a win over New York this weekend?

10. Arizona Cardinals (4-2) - This team looks to be taking form to who they were last season. The defense is playing tremendous football, and the offense is clicking.

11. Dallas Cowboys (4-2) - I was very impressed by Tony Romo and the Dallas defense against Atlanta. Miles Austin is having a Pro Bowl first half.

12. Atlanta Falcons (4-2) - Dallas had the bye week, Atlanta had the shortened week, Atlanta was outplayed and the punt return by Crayton was the icing on the cake.

13. Baltimore Ravens (3-3) - They will beat the Broncos this weekend.

14. Green Bay Packers (4-2) - Aaron Rodgers is putting up big numbers for the Packers offense.

15. New York Jets (4-3) - They did what they were supposed to do in Oakland this weekend, run the ball like crazy.

16. Houston Texans (4-3) - Matt Schaub has already set a new single-season touchdown passes record (16).

17. San Diego Chargers (3-3) - The soft defense finally looked like they were ready to play against KC last weekend.

18. San Francisco 49ers (3-3) - I prefer Shaun Hill over Alex Smith, I don't like this move.

19. Chicago Bears (3-3) - Anyone else thing Jay Cutler is going to have a monster game against Cleveland this weekend?

20. Miami Dolphins (2-4) - So close to a win against New Orleans. How bout the play calling in the 4th quarter? Pass,pass,pass, and punt? What happened to run right, run left, touchdown?

21. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) - Big game against Tennessee this weekend.

22. Buffalo Bills (3-4) - Every win in the NFL is a good win, but ew, the Bills win ugly.

23. Carolina Panthers (3-3) - Put in AJ Feeley!

24. Seattle Seahawks (2-4) - Had a bye last week, head to face Dallas this weekend...Ouch.

25. Washington Redskins (2-5) - Perfect time for the bye week.

26. Kansas City Chiefs (1-6) - Larry Johnson is tweeting about his coach...what does that tell ya?

27. Tennessee Titans (0-6) - Is it VY time yet? I believe so.

28. Detroit Lions (1-5) - Can the Lions get the win at home this weekend against St. Louis?

29. Cleveland Browns (1-6) - Blown out by the Packers, I expect them to get blown out by the Bears this week.

30. Oakland Raiders (2-5) - You beat the Eagles, then get blown out by the Jets, and head to San Diego this week. San Diego by 21.

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-6) - Put in Josh Freeman, he is your future.

32. St. Louis Rams (0-7) - I think the Rams may kick the losing habit this weekend in Detroit.

Power Rankings

Here are my power rankings entering Week 7 in the NFL:

1. New Orleans Saints (5-0) - Best team in the NFL, offense is tremendous 48 points per game against the NFC East, defense has been tremendous, and the quarterback has been flawless.

2. Indianapolis Colts (5-0) - Rams this week, make it 6-0.

3. Denver Broncos (6-0) - I believe in the Broncos. Great play from the quarterback, the running backs are playing perfectly into the offensive game plan for the Broncos (only 8 negative rushes this entire season), the special teams played great against SD, and the defense is sensational. This team is legit.

4. Minnesota Vikings (6-0) - Brett Farve, Minnesota loves you. This team is very talented. On the road, in Pittsburgh, this week will be a tough game, but a win will make this team so much better than they think they already are. Jared Allen is a beast coming off the end.

5. New York Giants (5-1) - Is Eli healthy? That is a concern in my eyes. This team is still very good, a small set back last week against the Saints.

6. New England Patriots (4-2) - Scary to think that Brady is back isn't it? Heading to London this week to face the lowly Bucs.

7. Atlanta Falcons (4-1) - This team has a lot to improve on to become elite, but if Michael Turner can get his running game going a bit, this team will be scary good.

8. Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) - Things don't get any easier this week when they take on the Bears.

9. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) - Big Ben played great against the pathetic defense of the Browns, but is this Steelers team battle tested? 4 wins against teams with a combined record of 4-19. The Vikings have 6 wins alone...

10. San Francisco 49ers (3-2) - Crabtree, I am pumped.

11. Baltimore Ravens (3-3) - This is a good football team, still. Perfect time for the bye week.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) - I did not predict a loss to the Raiders, that's for sure. Eagles, in my opinion, are still a good football team, but the loss to the Raiders leads me to believe that we won't know a thing about this team until they play the Giants.

13. Chicago Bears (3-2) - The Bears have to use Forte more to open up the offense for Cutler. If they don't run the ball successfully they will not be a great football team.

14. Arizona Cardinals (3-2) - Huge test for Warner against one of his former teams, the Giants, I think he will play well.

15. Green Bay Packers (3-2) - Aaron Rodgers needs protection for this team to have a chance to make a run at the end of the year.

16. Dallas Cowboys (3-2) - Coming off the bye week, can the Cowboys win at home against a very good Atlanta football team?


17. New York Jets (3-3) - Sanchez has 10 INTs on the year, tied with Jake Delhomme for worst in the NFL.

18. Houston Texans (3-3) - As predicted, the Texans took it to the Bengals. Can they do the same to the 49ers coming off a bye?

19. Miami Dolphins (2-3) - Exciting matchup against the Saints in Miami this week.

20. San Diego Chargers (2-3) - The defense is soft, Merriman is soft, LT is soft, but Rivers is very good.

21. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) - Balanced offense attack, horrendous defense, bottom of the middle-pack.

22. Carolina Panthers (2-3) - Jonathan Stewart looked good last week, that's a positive for this offense.

23. Buffalo Bills (2-4) - 5 interceptions for the defense, that will help you win a game.

24. Seattle Seahawks (2-4) - The Seahawks offensive line is hurting, they need a bye MONTH.

25. Kansas City Chiefs (1-5) - I couldn't pick them straight up last week, but I knew they would cover. Solid win for the desperate Chiefs.

26. Oakland Raiders (2-4) - What a remarkable victory for Russell and Tom Cable. Without Asomugha too.

27. Washington Redskins (2-4) - Monday night at home against the Eagles, who lost to the Raiders last week, Redskins will get toasted.

28. Tennessee Titans (0-6) - 59 -0

29. Detroit Lions (1-5) - Like I said last week, not a good chance to win against the Packers.

30. Cleveland Browns (1-5) - The Browns are not a good football team, but they have a favorable schedule shaping up.

31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-6) - The Bucs have a serious chance of not winning a game the rest of the season.

32. St. Louis Rams (0-6) - Competitive effort against the Jags.
