Week 4 Wrap Up

Taking a look at the 13 games on Sunday, this is my take:

-Baltimore had the chance to get the win in New England, and a dropped pass cost them the game.

-Pittsburgh won a big game against the Chargers, Mendenhall had 165 yards and 2 tds filling in for Willie Parker. Parker's job is not safe. The Steelers desperately need Troy Polamalu back on the defensive side of the ball.

-Eli Manning and Peyton Manning have looked superb in the first 4 weeks of the season. They are setting up the possibility of the Manning Brothers Super Bowl.

-49ers did what they had to do, absolutely dominated the Rams.

-Denver wins at home against the Cowboys. They shut down Tony Romo in the second half, and put down a huge statement for their control over the AFC-West. The Broncos looked great defensively, and Kyle Orton hasn't thrown an interception in his last 157 pass attempts.

-Chicago, led by fearless Jay Cutler, rolled over Detroit by 24.

-The Saints used the DEFENSE and running game to take down the Jets in New Orleans. The Jets did not look good, and Mark Sanchez threw 3 INTs in the loss.

-The Titans are the biggest disappointment this season, they got trounced by the Jaguars.

-The Texans got back to stride with a big win over Oakland.

-Washington is a bad football team, they win at home by 3 over the Bucs.

-Cincinnati had a scare, but come on, having an extra point blocked?

-The contenders are beginning to separate themselves. The Giants and Colts are definitely the favorites for AFC and NFC. The Patriots were impressive getting the win at home against the Ravens, but Tom Brady's roughing the passer call was embarrassing.

-Great game to watch tomorrow night as the Packers head into Minnesota. Brett Farve may not know which jersey to put on, but I think he'll get the win in the purple one.
